| Despite the exorbitant cost, I did break down and get Jake a light-up toy this time. |
This time around we were pleasantly surprised by the changes made to the show since last year. The routines were much more elaborate and fun, and there was more to the show than simply princesses. The costumes were great and the props full of colour and pizazz. The entire thing was so much more enjoyable and the boys had a great time.
Friday saw Mr. Tree and I home from work trying to take care of a very sick Baby Man. We brought him to the doctor and eventually to the Children's Hospital, where he needed some breathing treatments. For the first time in a long time we waited over five hours just to see the doctor and another two before we were cleared to go home . . . at 2 am.
We spent the weekend napping, running errands, going to birthday parties, napping and doing whatever it took to get Noah to sleep and stop crying. The poor lad is not a happy camper, but he seems to be over the worst . . . knock on wood.
And now, to sleep, perchance to dream.

I'm glad you had fun! Not sure if Braden (3) would be ready for that yet?
ReplyDeleteI know Jake wouldn't have sat through the show at three - he wouldn't even have known many of the characters. In fact, he still doesn't having only seen Tangled and the Little Mermaid this past summer.
DeleteWe did take him to see a Sesame Street Live show when he was 2.5 and he loved it. It was so fun seeing him get all excited!!!
